For many generations, a Catholic education has been possible because of the support and sacrafices made by many. Now it is OUR turn to insure that a quality, faith-filled education exists for our children today – and in the years to come.
St. Isaac Jogues School has existed since 1932 only because of the generosity of people like you. We invite you to join us as we continue to provide for our children today and build a legacy for tomorrow. With your help, we can eliminate the gap between the cost to educate a student at St. Isaac Jogues School and the tuition paid per student. Affordable tuition helps to ensure a Catholic education is available for anyone who choses it, however, we must rely on those who are able to help us keep our school viable.
There are many ways you can help support our school. Consider this your open invitation to become actively involved by volunteering. The hours dedicated by volunteers are invaluable and there is always a need. If time is not a resource you can readily spare, perhaps you can offer financial support directly through a donation to the School or to the SIJ Endowment Fund, or indirectly by enrolling in eScrip and Target RedCard programs, purchasing Spirit Wear, or supporting and attending the PSA sponsored fundraising events held throughout the year.
SIJ also encourages the support of our SIJ Families by providing a directory of family businesses called “Families First”. Please consider these businesses first the next time you are shopping!
Thank you for your interest in supporting Saint Isaac Jogues School! Our children’s education is founded on wisdom, faith, integrity, and humility, which can continue to grow thanks to SIJ and its supporters. We invite you to explore this section of our website and learn how your stewardship gift can make a difference.
Tuition alone does not cover the cost to educate our children at SIJ. Thankfully, our school has a rich history of school families and parish members supporting SIJ’s Catholic education. By working together as a larger body, we can meet the fundraising needs of our school, enrich the lives of our students, and strengthen the sense of belonging within the SIJ community.
Each year Saint Isaac Jogues School relies on the Annual Fund to:
Fully-fund faculty and staff annual and retention bonuses and
Partially cover critical school operating expenses.
Your Annual Fund gift will help us to retain our exceptional, Christ-centered teachers whose calling helps our children to grow spiritually and academically. The school aims for 100% participation in the Annual Fund at the financial level that each school family is able, reflecting the high expectations for parent involvement in their children's education. The campaign runs during select months through the school year, with all school families being invited at that time to support the Annual Fund.
Did you know there’s an easy way to help us raise money for our school? It’s called Take Charge of Education, and it’s helping our school right now. Everytime you use your Target REDCard or Target Visa Credit Card at Target or Target.com, Target donates 1% of purchases to St. Isaac Jogues School. Target also donates 1/2% of all Target Visa Credit Card purchases made anywhere.
Imagine what we could earn if those who have a Target REDCard simpy enrolled in the Take Charge program!! All you have to do is enroll in the program. It’s simple and takes less than 2 minutes. Grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the program. The more people we involve, the harder the program works for our school.
If you have a REDCard click here to enroll in or monitor the program.
The PSA hosts fundraisers throughout the year to support critical school expenses. The largest of these fundraisers is the Gala. The Gala is typically held every other year. Gala proceeds usually support specific school projects. Examples from the past include the Exceptional Learners Center and the Innovation Lab upgrades. The entire SIJ community is invited to come together to support the school at this fun and festive event.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. -Corinthians 9:6-7
